The lows become so much worse because they are accompanied by so much guilt at the pain and inconvenience I’m causing to the people around me. In that space, all I can think about is how worthless and pathetic I am, and now no one should be forced to tolerate my presence, but that kind of thinking can push people even further away because it can sound like there’s nothing they can do or that I don’t want their support.
I just need some time. I’ll be good again.
“If you want a happy ending, that depends, of course, on where you stop your story.”
— Orson Welles
You don’t hurt someone to make them afraid of losing you.
You love them till they don’t want to leave.Because fear is unwanted and love is much needed.
Don’t hold back your feelings just to make someone feel unimportant.
Let everything out so they know what they have been giving is not enough.Because people leave when they feel unwanted.
And people stay because they want to.
Frohman, who was responsible for producing the debut of Peter Pan in both England and the U.S., as well as other productions of JM Barrie’s plays, famously declined a lifeboat seat when the RMS Lusitania was sunk by a German U-boat in the North Atlantic.Actress Rita Jolivet, who stood with Frohman, George Vernon and Captain Alick Scott at the end, recalled Frohman quoting Barrie’s greatest hit, Peter Pan:
“Why fear death? It is the most beautiful adventure that life gives us.”
On a common impulse, they all moved closer together and joined hands just before a great wave swept them all off the deck. Jolivet alone survived.

“I’ve noticed that you’ve been noticing me.
So, I’m giving you notice,
That I’ve noticed you.”– Beautifully Broken

There’s little in water or wine;
This living, this living, this living
Was never a project of mine.
